Director, Partner Solutions Washington, DC Job Title: Director, Partner Solutions Location: Washington, DC Reports to: Senior Vice President, Sales Requisition #: 17-0024 Date: August 16, 2017 SUMMARY: The Partner Solutions (PS) team helps firms, partners, and brokers enter the international insurance market, enhance their value proposition and monetize risks. Leveraging more than 70 years of international insurance expertise, Partner Solutions engages in the design and delivery of bespoke insurance solutions - seamlessly integrating them into our partnerA cents € (TM) s business model. The Director, Partner Solutions, has overall accountability for the financial and operational performance of the PS department. As a member of the leadership team of the US profit center, the Director actively strives to meet or exceed the companyA cents € (TM) s performance objectives. The Director provides leadership over the companyA cents € (TM) s sales channel activities, including the global broker network, channel partners and wholesale management. Working side by side with his/her team, the Director leads product management and development activities, leads team in the identification, development and ratification of partnerships, as well as providing strategic leadership and oversight of client servicing activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes, but not limited to): Financial and Strategic Overall accountability for establishing and delivering the Partner Solutions revenue budget, while maintaining direct operating costs in line with company expense ratios; responsible for P&L. Sets channel strategy including the maintenance and acceleration of brokers, agents, strategic partners and wholesale opportunities. Sets channel strategy for the acquisition and activation of strategic channel partnerships. Leads overall product management activities. Launches new and existing products throughout designated partner network for new and existing partners. Monetizes partnerships by activating sales channels and captive sales opportunities. Develops premium and revenue forecasts, by product type, by partnership. Accountable for preparing, communicating and delivering against sales forecasts, customer retention and account rounding targets. Cost control and management of related expenditures and budget and adherence to prevailing company policies. Business Process Ongoing management of partnership network and prospective partners using Salesforce.com. Development and adherence to detailed sales and marketing strategy yielding sustained results. Lead the development of the Partner Solutions strategy, cycle plan, campaigns and ad hoc projects. Lead, develop, and present business cases for prospective partners. Launch planning and execution of new products launched throughout partner network. Development, communication and adherence to broker and partner minimum operating standards (MOS), if any. Detailed launch planning execution of strategic alliances and partnership models. Engagement with partnersA cents € (TM) leadership team, managers and staff worldwide in realizing revenue generating projects. Lead, oversee, and manage an efficient and effective client servicing structure and workflow, ensuring commitments are kept and honored in accordance with agreements. Business Development and Cross-Company Collaboration Management and development of the Partner Solutions practice area and team members. Leads team in the Identification, development and ratification of partnerships. Directs professional development and stewardship of partnership methodology. Engages colleagues, peers and company leadership as an active listener and contributor. Works actively with company divisions on the operational processes for existing and prospective partnerships. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience. Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience with technical expertise in the international insurance, risk management, financial services or professional services industry. Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing sales teams with the ability to provide guidance and value to staff development. A proven track record in sales and sales leadership role with profit and loss accountability. Demonstrated experience in developing solution based products. A creative thinker, he/she will possess a high level of tenacity, and is capable of positively influencing and materializing complex long-term partnerships. Ability to consistently drive financial value to Clements and the partner network. Experience with emerging markets in highly competitive and complex environments is essential. Demonstrates poise and professionalism and thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. Must have requisite insurance licensing, including property, casualty, life and health. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE: Affinity experience International insurance experience. Advanced risk management knowledge. Experience managing a service team.
