Job DescriptionThe Role: The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all service calls, dispatching technicians to calls, and working with Construction Superintendents in the operation of the Service of residences construct buildings.Job Responsibilities as Service Coordinator: Receive and respond to all client inquiries and complaints.Receives incoming requests for services and assigns for completion on a priority basis. Dispatch and manage the workload of assigned field technicians. Complete weekly time reports, verify assigned technicianA cents € (TM) s hours and expenses. Dispatch technicians to service calls. Maintain schedule for all clients.Manage approved repair work to ensure optimum client needs and maximize profitability.Cover standby. Complete assigned tasks/projects. Keep open work notes updated as needed and dispatch board up to dateCover additional technicians for all above in event someone is absent. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent, required.Post-secondary education in related technical field or equivalent experience, a plus.Experience reading blue prints, a plus.One year supervisory or project coordination experience, preferred.NICET Certification, preferred.Previous experience, training or proficiency in some or all of the following types of systems:Residential Fire Suppression SystemsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to supervise subcontractors and field technicians.Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms internally and with the customer.Basic organization and time management skills.Strong Computer Skills, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.Experience in mechanical/piping networks.Ability to read blue prints and markup changes required as a result of installation activities.Ability to effectively lead a team
