Job DescriptionPosition: Superintendent - Commercial Office Build-OutsObjective: Manage and oversee onsite activities related to the construction/remodeling of commercial office interior spacesJob Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to:Set up and organize projects with office project managers.Provide daily job site supervision and maintain detailed daily field reports logs.Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and material tracking and deliveries.Supervise, coordinate, and manage all field activities required to deliver projects on time within budget while maintaining safety and quality.Manage and update the project schedule along with providing 2-week look ahead schedules for reporting.Monitor, execute, and receive appropriate sign off of completion punch lists.Skills for Success:The qualified candidate for this position must be computer literate, possess the ability to manage projects efficiently, safely, on schedule and within budget. Candidates must have a proven track record of at least 3-5 years experience of on-site commercial construction managing tenant interior and renovation projects ranging from $500k to $10mm. Ability work organize and coordinate work of others by setting priorities, goals and ensuring tasks are completed on time; Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills; Must possess and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.A working knowledge of commercial office building systems, including HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.
