Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for coordinating the billing process for each of the companys rental branch locations. The candidate should display a positive proactive attitude, with the ability to prioritize and be a strong communicator.Responsibilities: Reviewing bill quotes/leases/bill of ladings, identifying matters with unapplied cash balancesIdentifying inconsistencies or errors on bill requests and working through to resolution for sales or operationsWorking with billing management to identify special billing requirements for customerPerforming regular and consistent follow up with Shipping Managers to ensure backup to billings are received in Accounting and processed in accordance with daily billing deadlinesCommunicating directly with customers as needed to assist in answering questions, providing data, and or maximizing billing efficiencyWorking with Billing Manager to assist in providing ad-hoc reporting and account analysis on matters of responsibilityProcessing monthly e-billing and processing payments for all accounts dailyAssisting in releasing sales, once payment has been obtainedRequirements:A minimum of 3-5 years previous accounting experience, including e billing experienceThorough understanding of electronic billing processesMacola billing experience preferredWorking knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookMeticulous attention to detailStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as our customersBenefits:Competitive salary DOEHealth and wellness benefits to include medical, dental, prescription, vision, life insurance and flexible spending accounts and Health Saving AccountsPTO and paid holidays401K Retirement PlanTo apply please submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.Our ValuesSONCO encourages a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and fosters an environment of professional growth where employees can exercise their leadership ability, creativity, technical competence, and public interest focus in helping SONCO fulfill its mission.EOE STATEMENT: We are an equal employment opportunity and E-Verify employer.
