We currently have great assignments for an Associate Principal Architect with one of our top clients. Our client is an international architecture and planning firm committed to creating environments that inspire connection, collaboration, community and commerce. Located in McLean, Virginia area. Job Responsibilities The Associate Principal Architect for the Multi-Family Residential Division will be responsible for leading and engaging with clients and teams in delivering services to creatively solve problems on multiple projects simultaneously; Handle technical and financial performance of assigned project; Ensure high quality of design through Schematic Design, Construction Design and Construction Administration phases Establish work plan, budget and schedule Participate in building long-term client relationship and marketing efforts to maintain and grow client base; Manage and oversee code compliance, control costs, perform QA review and assist in contract negotiation; Direct, organize and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight; and Benefit from an incentive bonus plan The Associate Principal Architect will need to possess: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited program 8 - 10 years minimum of experience in base building architecture Experience with developer based MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL architecture Minimum 5+ years of project management experience Proficiency in Managing teams working in AutoCad and Revit Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment Self-motivated and self-directed personality who is looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity Registered Architect - NCARB preferred Benefits Our client offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes: Bonus Program Regular Compensation & Performance Reviews Medical, Dental, Vision, & Prescription Benefits Recognition Programs Professional Development Program Employee events including happy hours, employee outings, lunches, year-end celebrations, and more.
