NOW HIRINGFrom a day to day operations perspective, the Electrical I&C Technician will be responsible for maintaining and the calibration of equipment which will include, pumps, valves of the power plant equipment.This technician will be working inside of an industrial environment at an off campus power plant. This will be a day shift position where they will be working M-F from 7:00am - 3:30PM. OT will be available in emergency situations as well as general staff coverage if someone is out.Qualified candidates will have the following:1. 5+ years of experience as industrial electrician *Power Generation is a plus.2. Need to have experience with calibrations/valves (temp/pressure/flow transmitter calibrations), Specifically troubleshooting electrical circuits. 24 volt-41.60 volts; Full circuit. 3. Must have journeyman level experience (certification not required if field experience is there) % Job Breakdown50% calibrations testing throughout plant, Running conduit, troubleshoot electrical circuits, maintenance and troubleshoot motors 480v+ . 30% Med- High voltage working on the electrical distribution system on campus.
