Assistant Director of Nursing
Assistant Director of Nursing / ADON We are seeking an experienced ADON who wishes to support a collaborative team environment, exhibit a positive culture throughout the organization, and become close with the "community". The successful candidate will have 3+ years of long term care experience and at least 1+ years as an Unit Manager or ADON. The basic requirements: RN with at least 1+ years Assistant Director of Nursing or Unit Manager experience in a progressively led facility A prominent display of "Leadership" Has managed a "support" nursing group, and has partnered with the DON on multiple initiatives Creative, flexible, and seeks to take on this facility as if it were their own Essential Job Functions: Must have experience in LTC with DOH surveys and understand quality measures Able to work closely with the Director of Nursing to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by your team Have an understanding of nursing home operations, regulations, compliance, finance, quality, safety and resident satisfaction initiatives. Plan resource utilization and care interventions according to available data and known trends Team with Nursing Home Administrator / Director of Nursing including evaluation of staff, evaluate and address complaints, investigate failed audits, and manage staff conflicts. Develop and foster meaningful relationships with managers, staff, residents and families Skills: Active Registered Nursing license / Demonstrated leadership abilities / Able to exhibit good historical survey results / Enjoys being out in the unit(s) / Strong attention to detail / Ability to multitask / Excellent communication skills / Compassionate and empathetic Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
