Job Title: Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator Reports to: Accounting Manager Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Payroll / Accounts Payable Coordinator process bi-weekly payroll, accounts payable invoices, and ensures that Planned Parenthood of Maryland maintains good standing with our vendors. Qualifications: Education / Experience Associates' Degree in accounting or related field or high school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience in processing payroll; AND Skills and Competencies: Ability to successfully operate a computer, accounting software, and adding machines. Ability to comprehend and apply concepts for enhancement and efficiency of department and general operations. Ability to timely complete multi-faceted functions with minimal supervision. Be highly organized and detail oriented, efficient, and accurate in work performance. Possess and display excellent customer service skills. Possess and display positive and proper communication skills. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent document organization and filing skills (both paper and electronic). Ability to develop effective paper and electronic filing and document management systems.
