NIKA is seeking a Proposal and Capture Manager that will be responsible for developing compliant and compelling submittals. This position requires that he/she work closely with business unit leads and subject matter experts in the development of technical solutions, win strategies, proposal content, compliance, and formatting. Job Description The Proposal and Capture Manager will review and analyze RFPs and related documents; develop proposal outlines; develop proposal calendars, coordinate proposal and capture tasks with business unit leads. This position will work closely with Contracts, Human Resources, and Finance; and provide oversight for activities including, but not limited to, coordination, template development, color review coordination, data call coordination, technical editing, proposal production, and submission. Additionally, the Proposal and Capture Manager will lead proposal pipeline reporting and input on the capture processes for long term strategic opportunities. This will include but is not limited to managing pipeline reporting, facilitating project teams through the capture and proposal process, leading go/no-go decisions, and collaborating with NIKA's research team on capture-related research needs. Basic Requirements and Desired Skills Must have five to eight years of Proposal/Capture Management experience. In-depth understanding of compliance with all sections of governmental RFPs, experience analyzing RFPs, creating proposal outlines and schedules, managing and coordinating proposal teams, writing new material, editing written material, and producing high-quality proposals under tight deadlines - Organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach. Proven ability to work in a fast paced and performance based environment. Strong ability to manage up; Ability to work independently and interface and coordinate with all involved departments and senior executives; Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Flexible and open to changing schedules and priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed time frames. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively with bid partners. Bachelor degree in English, Business, Marketing or related field. Industry experience. desired but not required - A&E, construction, or Facilities Operations Management.
