Job Summary Manages the day-to-day general accounting of a portfolio of properties. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation of weekly cash requirement reports. Conduct Monthly financial calls with the property managers. Prepare Personal Property Tax Returns. Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and reports (9th business day) and monthly work papers. Responsible for the reconciliation of bank statements, researching open items and communicating pertinent information to site staff through to resolution. Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly and quarterly reports required by investors and state agencies.3 Assist in the yearly budget preparation of monthly and review process with Regional Managers. Assist Controller with year-end audits including audit package preparation. Maintain positive communications and contact with Property and Regional Managers. Additional duties as assigned by the Controller. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field and one to three years' Accounting experience, preferably in residential property management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications; working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills and exceptional detail orientation. Ability to work with strict deadlines in a high-volume environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Additional Info.
