SummaryThe MIL Corporation seeks a Program Manager to support a Federal Government client at our Washington, DC 20005 location.Responsibilities* Serve as the Contractor's single authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)* Responsible for formulating, enforcing and enhancing work standards, assigning Contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising Contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates* Track and account for government furnished equipment approved by the CRS COR to be off-site in the performance of the resulting contract* Responsible for the overall contract performance and shall not serve in any other capacity under the resulting contractRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline or comparable experience* 10 years of experience, of which at least 5 years must be specialized; specialized experience includes: expertise in the management and control of resources, using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity* General increasing responsibilities in information systems design and/or management* Experience managing work in an IT Operations environment, with a proven ability to manage both immediate reactive issues and long-term strategic goals* Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)* Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to communicate and present ideas, information and reports* Proven leadership experience managing personnel across multiple functional task areas* Ability to schedule and track projects using Microsoft Project Gantt charts and Work Breakdown Structures* Knowledge of common information technology applications and services, network services, computer and communications systems, and associated protocols and industry standards and Federal information security and device configuration standards* Experience providing supervisory oversight and coordinating tasks with sub-Contractors* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications* Master's degree (in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline):* Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Foundations certification, a strong working knowledge of ITIL methodologies* Experience working with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologiesEducationBA/BSClearancePublic TrustThe MIL Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity and sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #CB
