This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Find us on Facebook @moving.mudd Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of OSHA/DOT and Heritage Concrete, LLC. Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA's, TRACK, etc). Operates equipment to pump concrete and produce concrete materials Positions hose or temporary pipeline and snaps couplings together Shovels materials into hopper Moves lever to discharge materials from skip into hopper or signals Mixer Truck Driver to fill hopper with concrete Monitors equipment and adjusts controls to start and operate pump Starts pump or compressor and turns valves to regulate hydraulic pressure and flow of materials through hose. May aim hose nozzle into space to be filled or at surface to be coated or may lubricate and repair machinery Delivers concrete to sites Drive concrete mixer truck as needed Other duties as assignedOther requirements Regular and predictable attendance. Must possess a valid CDL License, a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT physical Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations Able to do basic math Able to work independently with attention to detail Able to respond to stressful situations and customers in a professional, courteous manner Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines Excellent organizational skills Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations Able to have set-up knowledge and to show leadership qualities Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment Education and/or Experience High school Diploma or equivalent Heavy duty construction equipment with boom operation Language Skills Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written form to employees, management and clients. Reasoning Ability Able to identify, define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Stress: Must have the ability to handle stressful situations as they arise.
