Maslow Media Group is continuously recognized as one of the industrya s top media production companies For more than a quarter of a century our versatile team has provided prestigious clients with the essentials needed to fully realize and support their creative visions Whether interviewing and screening media professionals to fulfill staffing needs booking camera crews to locations worldwide providing Employer of Record payroll services or creating comprehensive script to screen solutions Maslow Media Group does it all The Washington Business Journal has recognized Maslow Media Group as the Media Production Company for eleven consecutive years and founder Linda Maslow frequently has been honored as the visionary founder as well as receiving numerous accolades throughout the years As the HR Specialist you will guide clients through the onboarding process from beginning to end Your primary responsibility is to create the most efficient timely and positive onboarding process for both our multi state clients and Maslow Media In addition you will support administration of Benefits and Workera s Compensation Due to the nature of our business you will need to understand Federal and Multi state HR and Payroll laws The HR Specialist will report to the Director of HR Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build strong relationships with individuals at all levels of client organization and guarantee employee has a positive value added experience in every interaction Oversee and execute implementation for new hire onboarding from pre hire to paycheck Ensure smooth onboarding of new hire and conduct audits to ensure all information is captured accurately Collaborate with multiple teams at Maslow Media including but not limited to Human Resources Client Services and Sales to ensure smooth processes Respond immediately to all employee phone and email inquiries with a sense of urgency and appropriate steps for resolution Find resourceful solutions to obstacles that arise Coordinate benefits and K enrollment in accordance to ACA and ERISA regulations we well as ensuring employees understand our benefit offerings Maintain employee digital files file paperwork in a timely manner in accordance and record keeping laws and best practices Perform other duties as assigned by manager
