Financial Services Specialist P Summary Responsible for preparing detailed individual retirement plans for Investment and Retirement Planner IRP analysis and subsequent employee discussion Review employee questionnaires clarify employee data request internal Retirement Security RS and k Pension Plan benefit estimates enter employee data into retirement planning software and create the initial retirement plan for participants Provide on going technical support for the Personal Investment Retirement Consulting PIRC retirement planning software Utilize Omni Station and BAS software to evaluate k Plan and RS Plan benefits Provide back up to the PIRC Investment Retirement Associates for in bound phone inquiries from co op participants Purpose and Mission Performs duties in support of I FS strategies to retain assets in the k and RS Plans in accordance with the mission statement a œTo provide high quality objective investment and retirement education to NRECA member employeesa Reviews incoming PIRC retirement planning questionnaires clarifies employee data request additional information and classifies current investment assets Uses internal BAS database to retrieve employeea s RS Plan benefit projection at specified retirement age and requests official NRECA projection as needed Uses Omni Station to obtain employeea sk Plan balance assesses current investment allocation evaluates current loan payoffs and assesses plan contributions Mails employees a letter acknowledging receipt of their retirement planning questionnaires and related compliance material Creates the initial employee retirement plan for IRP review modification and subsequent presentation to employees Requires entering financial information into planning software reviewing for accuracy and insuring accurate output Answers personal financial planning inquiries as back up to front line Investment and Retirement Associates IRA Topics include but not limited to k Plan fund descriptions k Plan website assistance k and RS Plan statement review and other factual information Provides on going technical support to Investment and Retirement Planners for the retirement planning software Available to answer all questions regarding the input and output of information from Money Guide Pro software This software produces retirement analysis for k and RS Plan participants Participates in and handle special projects as assigned by supervisor Responsible for the proper security and disposal of any confidential information that he or she may possess in the course of performing this positiona s job duties in accordance with NRECAa s Personnel Administrative Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security Policies Procedures Manuals Requirements and Qualifications Bachelors Degree no specific field of study preferred yearsa experience performing the duties of a Retirement Associate or equivalent experience working with Financial Planners or Investment Advisors Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a diverse membership employees and or vendors in a clear and precise manner as demonstrated by prior work experience Ability to work well within a team of professionals as demonstrated by prior work experience Ability to use Microsoft Office tools Excel Word Outlook Power Point in the day to day essential duties of the job as demonstrated by prior work experience Ability to operate various office equipment such as personal computer copier printer fax machine or other job related equipment as demonstrated by prior work experience Interpersonal skills member service orientation and ability to work in a team environment as demonstrated by prior work experience Ability to perform mathematical calculations addition subtraction division multiplication percentages as demonstrated by prior work experience
