full range of liberal arts and sciences Job Description The Digital Customer Acquisition Leader is an essential new leadership role tasked with helping to craft Great Minds roadmap for optimizing digital and customer acquisition and retention to help fulfill the organization s mission and marketing objectives Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer the person will be responsible for creating executing maintaining and analyzing digital marketing and customer acquisition and retention initiatives to build market awareness manage the marketing automation platform and optimize the marketing funnel to acquire contacts for the marketing CRM and convert them into leads for the product market teams and drive engagement across digital channels This is an exceptional opportunity for a smart passionate and data driven marketer to apply his or her expertise to support our mission and business growth Requirements Responsibilities Digital Customer Acquisition Leader responsibilities include Lead customer acquisition best practices across marketing and other teams collaborating with each product market team to hit and exceed key customer acquisition goals and providing hands on expertize in optimization of the marketing funnel to acquire contacts nurture the CRM to convert into leads and retention to drive life time value across customer and users KPI to lead a double digit increase in conversion points in the marketing funnel Leading and managing the use of the marketing automation platform to on ramp and support team members in execution of digital marketing programs and campaigns Building and refining digital marketing capabilities including email inbound marketing SEO SEM outbound communication social media etc across multiple platforms Developing and optimizing strategies for integrated organic and paid campaigns employing best practices in search ad copy creation execution bid strategies targeting and tracking Providing analysis and insights on digital marketing initiatives for optimization continuous improvements and reporting Identifying and assessing new digital marketing opportunities and tactics to support growth Working with the marketing content lead to manage the creating and production of digital marketing assets Managing the marketing funnel strategy for website and digital properties including working with rd party designers and development resources Developing and implementing strategies for integrating data across platforms eg Google Analytics Hubspot similar Salesforce to build optimize the CRM platform and supporting managing a near real time marketing dashboard Other duties as defined by the CMO Qualifications Minimum of years of hands on digital marketing experience Minimum of years managing a multi persona and buyer journey marketing funnel in the growing a base from s to s to drive visitors UV acquire contact details nurture contacts and conversion to leads for BB sales or e commerce Minimum of years of building a user like community via digital and social media with acquisition plus engagement and retention like goals across or more persona types Minimum of years using marketing automation platforms and tools use of enterprise level tool like Hubspot Marketo Pardot or similar is a major plus Minimum of years management experience a managing a team of two or more people and in a matrix marketing organization A plus is management of outcomes and deliverables using agile iterative lean like approach methodologies Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with strong command of Analytics Google or similar testing methodologies tracking and distilling insights for marketing and executive teams for informed strategic and tactical decision making Comfortable with setting and achieving marketing KPI and leading indicators for UV Leads Engagement Acquisition and Retention marketing dashboard management a big plus In depth experience managing integrated organic content and digital ad campaigns eg Adwords Facebook Advertising Bachelor s Degree required advanced degree MBA a plus Preferred Skills Inquisitive mind eager to explore and evaluate emerging digital marketing strategies and tools Outstanding communication skills both in writing and speaking Fastidious attention to detail but also able to see the big picture Team player able to effectively lead mentor and collaborate or follow as situation demands Ability to manage multiple projects with record of regularly meeting goals and deadlines Experience of managing and delivering results in direct and in direct matrix like roles across marketing and working closely with sales and product teams Details Based in Washington DC office or in New York City or home based within commutable distance to either city for
