The Chef will be responsible for the development and planning of menus and coordinates, executes, supervises and evaluates all the food production activities of a fast-paced, customer satisfaction-focused operation. The Chef will assist in the management of the strategic and day-to-day operations. The Chef maintains the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. Culinary degree preferred. 3+ years experience in high volume kitchen production including student feeding and large catering events. Proven leader of a culinary team that plans, produces and presents items for Cafe and Catering. Strong menu planning, costing and production controls are essential skills. The ability to oversee multiple areas of production. Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Culinart's marketing and culinary team. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation and safety. Proficient in Microsoft software;inventory programs; ordering systems. Demonstrate an understanding of current culinary market/trends and creative food presentation.
