Digital and Search Marketing Specialist
Job Description The Digital and Search Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing paid digital campaigns for clients through campaign planning, execution, management, and analysis. Candidates must have direct experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Paid Search (SEM), Paid Advertising in Social Media, Display Advertising and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Familiarity with Email Marketing and WordPress is a plus. Responsibilities: Daily management and execution of multiple digital marketing campaigns including Adwords/PPC, display, retargeting, social advertising, SEO, mobile, email and other innovative media channels to drive visitors to client websites and landing pages. PPC Perform daily account management of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords and Bing. Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics. Manage large keyword lists. Provide creative copy and graphical ad template suggestions. Manage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with goals. Generate new paid search campaigns, ad groups and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives. Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives. Keep pace with industry trends and developments. Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals. SEO Improve a company's organic search results through ongoing monitoring and implementation of on and off page SEO tactics. Ensure websites are SEO friendly through using analysis tools such as SEM Rush. Place keywords appropriately in copy to improve search engine rankings and traffic. Implement off-page SEO content strategies such as content promotions and link building. Effectively use header tags. Strategize ways to improve and track site performance. Compile and present SEO performance reports. Paid Social and Display Advertising Plan and manage campaigns on social and display platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat, etc.) working within the native tools on each platform to execute and optimize campaigns. Leverage research tools and resources to plan campaign tactics that adhere to client goals and target audiences. Research industry benchmarks by platform and client vertical. Optimize Display and Social campaigns to meet and/or exceed advertiser goals through channel-specific levers, including but not limited to: copy changes, bid adjustments, and placement testing. Collaborate with creative team and account directors to align messaging and targeting based on best practices and campaign objectives for new add tests Collect information about the kinds of audiences that can be reached by the different media and the approximate size of those audiences. Ensure an effective campaign through implementing tracking pixels, providing publishers with correct creative, monitoring and tracking and utilizing a sophisticated ad tracking system. Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in SEO, PPC and coordinating the launch of media campaigns. Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools. Google certified for Adwords and Analytics a plus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
