As Talent Manager, you will create and deploy strategies around talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, talent development and learning, and engagement and retention that enhance PCM's capabilities and ensure the organization has the talent capable of meeting current and future business needs.Overview The Talent Manager provides innovative leadership and direction for a set of HR functions, including talent acquisition, training and development, and employment branding. The incumbent will assist the Director of Administration in the development, administration and communication of policies and programs within these functions to foster a best-in-class employee culture. The incumbent will also work as part of the HR & Corporate Administration team on other initiatives.ResponsibilitiesRecruitingDevelop and/or maintain job descriptions for all positions.Establish innovative sourcing strategies to attract top candidates for all positions, using social media, online job boards, company website, job fairs and internal resources. Develop strategy to establish company branding in recruitment. Ensure that recruiting methods and processes are efficient, effective, and promote diversity.Compose content for open positions advertisements and determine appropriate posting locations. Track, monitor, and report recruitment metrics.Vet incoming applicants and resumes. Conduct initial interviews and pre-employment testing and background checks. Provide hiring managers with the tools to interview and assess candidates accurately and fairly.Prepare offer letters for approved candidates. Notify appropriate staff members of any IT needs.
