Title: Human Resources GeneralistReport to: General Manager, CEO Status: Full-time The Human Resources Generalist assists different departments as well as works autonomously on recruiting and employee relations. This position works directly with the CEO and General Manager to successfully accomplish the goals of British Swim School Central Maryland. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Administration management Employee relations Compliance laws and regulations Communication skills both verbal and written Critical thinking Time management Roles and Responsibilities Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and compliance. Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Manage Job boards and conduct interviews Employee relations Schedule training for new employees Onboard new employees Conduct 401K census Manage compliance Manage HRIS Oversee employee timesheets are completed correctly Payroll Oversee completion of performance reviews Maintains culture throughout British Swim School Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business 2 years Human Resources experience Experience in customer service
