Job Description Position Description: SOS is seeking a Recruiter to join our corporate headquarters and assist with the full recruiting lifecycle, such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Tasks will include implementing creative sourcing methods and marketing/outreach to identify potential candidates; preparing and posting job openings; tracking and screening applicants; facilitating interview process; and supporting the hiring/onboarding process. The Recruiter will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with candidates and other stakeholders and maintain knowledge/compliance with all federal and state laws and company policies.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with analyzing and defining position requirements and posting jobs to online sourcing tools and social media. Network with and market to potential candidates to build a database of qualified candidates. Assist with analyzing employee applications to determine eligibility/qualification and provide recommendations to SOS stakeholders. Monitor / track applications and provide progress updates. Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and schedule/facilitate interviews with internal stakeholders. Maintain consistent communication with candidates Maintain awareness of creative sourcing strategies and apply diverse staffing methodologies. Develop and establish best practices and processes for recruiting Supporting hiring and onboarding activities such as offer letters, new employee documentations, orientation, etc.Required Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years experience performing recruiting activities within the government contracting industry Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or similar Proven track record of developing and executing sourcing strategies and recruitment best practices Experienced in building, cultivating, and sustaining a network of qualified candidates Experience using online sourcing tools such as ZipRecruiter, Indeed, LinkedIn Desired Skill Set and Experience: Former US Government / US Military experience Active security clearanceDesired Qualities: Organized and capable of multitasking Proactive and energetic about growing company through hiring Detail-oriented with attention to quality Strong verbal and written communications skills Tech-savvy; able to quickly learn new software and tools Comfortable working long hours to meet customer deadlines SOS is an Equal Opportunity Employer Company DescriptionFounded in 2008, SOS is a minority-owned, small disadvantaged business providing solutions for federal and commercial clients worldwide.
