BGS is seeking an experienced Acquisition, Logistic & Deployment Support Specialist to provide program support in the acquisition, development, testing and deployment of enhanced and next generation sensor/detection systems. The successful candidate shall have comprehensive knowledge of government acquisition and systems engineering process frameworks and experience providing program planning and advisory support in a complex acquisition environment. Responsibilities Responsible for the planning, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of systems to support domestic radiation and nuclear detection capabilities. Prepare executive level program briefs, monitoring and tracking program cost, schedule, performance and technical status reports, and developing documentation to support program reviews in accordance with DHS Acquisition Management Directives.Provide support for DHS program reviews and develop program acquisition documents in accordance with DHS Acquisition Management Directive 102-01.Coordinate and interface across a broad stakeholder community 10 experience years providing program management, program acquisition, and life-cycle support to a DHS, DOD, or other Federal programs.Bachelors of Science, in Engineering, Physics, or Management (Engineering Degree is preferred), Master's Degree is desired.Acquisition qualifications are required. Logistics experience is required.Knowledge of system engineering principlesExperience with Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear detection systems Current Active DoD Secret Clearance
