Marketing & Communications Officer
For the fast-growing US subsidiary of our International client, we are seeking to fill the vacancy of Marketing & Communications Officer. This is an exciting and new position within this organization, which is designed to translate company strategy into a transparent "global" marketing communication policy and to further grow our client's operations in North America. As Marketing Communication Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning and executing creative, effective and efficient marketing communication activities aimed at improving our client's brand awareness and image. In addition, you will be responsible for helping to determine and safeguard corporate identity and website content, and for maintaining contacts with advertising agencies, the press and trade fair organizations. You will be responsible for formulating communication plans, establishing objectives, driving initiatives, and completing projects by the deadlines established. Synopsis: External communication including online marketing, press releases, newsletters, advertisements and print media (brochures, business cards, etc.). Maintaining relationships with the press (trade journals) and trade fair organizers. Operational support in various communication projects like trade fairs (from concept to execution and organization), the website and brochures. Website maintenance and maximizing the findability on the internet. Developing and maintaining Social Media. (LinkedIn, YouTube) Writing and developing content. Collaborating with the sales team and external sales outlets (distributors and press brake builders/importers) on joint marketing programs. Internally communicating upcoming newsletters, mailings and online activities. Etc. Creative, energetic, self-starting and versatile personality is a must! Proven ability to add value in a team-environment and to strongly communicate on multiple levels inside and outside of the organization. Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Marketing or a relevant major. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position (B2B) required. Marketing experience in manufacturing or industrial distribution preferred. Work experience in an International setting would be a plus.
