Manager Commercial Insurance Client Services Washington DC Job Title Manager Commercial Insurance Client Services Department Commercial Insurance Location Washington DC Reports to Regional Sales Director FLSA Status Exempt Requisition Date July SUMMARY The Manager Commercial Insurance CI Client Services is responsible for managing and overseeing the CI account management team ensuring that ongoing service and retention of all accounts either meet or exceed departmenta s financial goals In addition working closely with their staff providing support and direction in conjunction with the producers on client and or carrier related problems as they arise RESPONSIBILITIES includes but not limited to Manages the day to day CI servicing by establishing priorities and objectives scheduling and assigning work adjusting schedules when necessary to meet business needs compliance dates and providing assistance with resolving complex problems while ensuring adherence to Company policies and objectives Oversees and stays actively involved in the retention and development of key accounts across the department Develops and administers annual department budgets and business plans based on annual objectives for Commercial Service Operations Monitors department performance against planned objectives in the areas of compliance quality assurance and productivity and reports on results Analyzes data and makes recommendations for change in strategy as necessary Maintains strong working relationships with managers across other product lines as well as various departments to develop cross functional process improvements service standards policies procedures and work flows which ensure effective customer service and achievement of companya s financial goals Manages team to meet and exceed performance expectations by using the objective setting and performance evaluation processes to ensure employees understand the expectations providing regular feedback and coaching development opportunities and recognition Holds monthly Team Meetings and individual one on one meetings to help influence drive and maintain the required sales and retention targets Ensures compliance with servicing performance standards and maintains data integrity within all company systems and processes Responsible for all aspects of smaller projects or phases of larger projects Plans directs and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree or equivalent years of experience Minimum seven years of relevant commercial lines service experience with a strong knowledge of property casualty insurance and general understanding of the operations of underwriting production auditing claims and billing collection Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience in a related environment Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a large group of production employees to achieve desired business outcomes Strong interpersonal and communication written and verbal skills Demonstrated ability to analyze data and effectively resolve problems Licensed in PC and LH Ability to travel internationally THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE Previous insurance sales retention experience Knowledge of international insurance products TO APPLY Please send a resume to hr clements com include a œManager CI Client Servicesa in the subject line of the email
