A client in Washington, DC is looking for a Media Buyer to join their team on a freelance to possible full time basis. This position can be remote but you must be able to come to the DC office for meetings 1-2 times/week.Responsibilities:- Develop and execute media plans. - Propose, develop and execute marketing solutions across a variety of media channels, including SEM, display, social media, email, affiliate marketing and traditional marketing- Work with Director to create strategic media plans - Manage the implementation of the bid management tool and utilize the buying software to optimize media plans/budgets- Place media buys and set up campaigns with primary focus on digital channels- Knowledge of traditional media (TV, Radio, Print, Out-of-Home) is a plus- Negotiate rates where applicable- Manage day-to-day media buying process and vendor relationships- Assist in managing client budgets and media billing- Work with the Director to develop KPIs and reporting methodologies - Evaluate media performance, optimization and channel alternatives- Provide business analysis to identify risks and opportunities - Manage clients, and travel periodically as neededQualifications:- 3-5 years of media buying experience- Familiar with media buying software (Marin, Acquisio or similar)- Existing relationships with media vendors a plus- Strong analytical skills are required- Understanding of all aspects of paid media advertising, media strategy and standard media measurement- Excellent customer service and client-facing skills- Expert knowledge of media performance tools, including Adwords, Google Analytics, and bid management toolsSEP. 2017.Submit resume (and samples if applicable) to: [Click Here to Email Your Resume]
