SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to provide compensation analysis in support of base pay and bonus programs, as well as performing job analysis, documentation and evaluation. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Conduct analysis in support of corporate, store and field base pay and/or bonus programs, including creation of worksheets for Regional single date adjustment and bonus check approvals, calculations of adjustments/payments and coordination of printing and distribution of checks as needed. Perform job evaluations for new or existing jobs to include writing and updating job descriptions, developing and maintaining a database for all positions with pay grade and pay scale information and creating and distributing reports. Participate in compensation salary surveys through job content analysis for matching survey jobs, documentation, data collection and survey submission. Maintain the master pay scale library, store and pharmacy master lists and additional databases to support and advance compensation program development. Design and implement electronic documentation systems for regional and corporate use, including maintenance of the Human Resources Salary Administration intranet sites. Create and/or edit assigned work projects that document and support associate understanding of Human Resource programs, such as performance appraisals, recruitment, compensation, and training. Assist in the analysis, development and audit of compensation programs. Experience / Requirements Three (3) years' of experience in professional HR and Finance or HRIS program required. Education Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Human Resources or related field required.
