Design transaction fraud strategies which effectively minimize cardmember disruptions while balancing financial impact and risk to the credit union. Works closely with other stakeholders to identify and mitigate ID theft and application fraud Monitors effectiveness of analytical methods and performance Participates in Member Information System development to minimize member impact of fraud prevention strategies Ability to respond after-hours, weekends and holidays to a fraud event Proficiency working with large datasets Performs statistical analysis, including trend analysis, regression analysis, and model validation Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, with proven skills to effectively manage prioritization while effectively meeting deliverables Bachelor's Degree in any of the following: Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field is preferred Advanced degree in a quantitative or a related field is highly preferred Three years of risk experience in banking/financial industry preferred Experience in fraud mitigation and risk analytics in credit card or related consumer products highly preferred Experience and expertise in VISA Data Manager, Risk Services Manager and Managed Real-Time Programs through VISA preferred Solid knowledge of statistical concepts, predictive modeling, and analytic tools
