The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of human resources activities for 500 employees at Keany Produce Company. Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Generalist/Recruiter will be primarily involved with recruitment, payroll/benefits/HRIS, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. However, this is an ever-changing, dynamic environment, which requires a multitasking and flexible individual. This role functions in a professional capacity interacting with all levels of the organization requiring acumen to make recommendations and influence change. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administers the full life cycle recruitment process inclusive of regulatory postings, job files, screening, scheduling interviews, job offers, onboarding, exit interviews, and unemployment practices. Completes full administration of the payroll process on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. Creates and distributes the required payroll reports timely. And Engages with all employees courteously on employee relations matters and works to resolve concerns. Advises managers on organizational policy matters. Maintains accurate records in both the HRIS and personnel files systems. Provides training needs for required employee development, policy, compliance and health and safety programs. Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices Maintains all records related to EEO-1, OSHA 300, Maintains the highest level of confidentiality on all matters with the organization. Performs all other related Human Resources functions as may be required by the position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business or related fields Experience: 3-5 Years in Human Resource Knowledge: Strong written and verbal communication language composition and grammar Knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents and government regulations related to employment law and human resources Skills and Abilities: Ability to work off schedule hours 1-2 days per week Ability to do light traveling to appointments or off site activities. Ability to organize records and personnel files in a confidential, legal and secure manner Solid problem solving and business acumen skills Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated computer proficiency with experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and a Professional in Human Reosurces Certification (PHR/SPHR) Experience: 5-7 Years in a recruitment and Human Resources role Knowledge Of: Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of people and resources Ultipro HRIS Software or cloud based system. Skills and Abilities: Strong project management , time management and leadership skills Ability to negotiate contribution agreements and contracts Creates an organizational culture that applies teamwork, continuous improvement and compliance with internal and external policies.
