Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Responsibilities Responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites. Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.In support of the Intelligence Community Desktop Environment (IC DTE) Joint Program Management Office (JPMO), the Systems Integrators shall support/perform at least the following:Review and provide technical comments and advice to the government on designs, builds, and applications which support IC DTE and the IC.Test and provide comments to the government on software to determine suitability before integration into IC DTE baselineReview and provide comments and advice to the government on technical designs and/or related documents to systems integration of ICC into IC DTE Review and provide comments to the government on ICC TORP packagesCollaborate closely with IC customers and contractors to support IC DTE activities that interface with other IC ITE providers (NRES, IAA, EMT, etc.).Review and provide comment to the government and development contractor on test plans and procedures for IC DTE activities Review and assess test for software functionality and design concepts and provide feedback to the government and the development contractor Coordinate and collaborate with IC Technical representatives to meet IC DTE ObjectivesParticipate and contribute to IC technical working groupsSupport preparation of security documents in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)Review, coordinate, and provide in depth tests, including end-user reviews for IC DTE activities.Provide feedback on the integration results of IC DTE activities and make recommendations based on findings Skills and Experience:Required:Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (eg, Engineering, computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) Desired:Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written)Ability to work as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities Ability to multi-task with tight deadlines and changing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office tool suiteSelf-starter, proactive, and ability to work independentlyCustomer service and goal oriented Knowledge and experience within IC DTE or other Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) providersExperience in DoD and/or IC
