JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as Director of the Multi-Family Housing Portfolio Management Division (MFHPMD), Deputy Administrator for Multi-Family Housing, Rural Housing Service (RHS).

This position is being concurrently announced under Merit Promotion procedures on announcement number DCRHS-2018-0004 .     For the GS-15 level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: specialized experience is experience providing leadership and oversight in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of nationwide multi-family housing (MFH) program plans and objectives; analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness and determining the appropriate course of action for improvement; elicit cooperation and deal effectively with representatives of Federal and non-Federal organizations on loan and grant program servicing matters; meeting and dealing with senior management officials to effectively present plans and technique proposals to a variety of audiences; and supervision of multi-family servicing staff.  Regulates and guides the business operations of loan and subsidy processing for very-low, low and moderate income families and to preserve properties improving the effectiveness and efficiency of providing decent, safe and sanitary housing for rural families.  There is no education substitution for this grade level.
