The George Mason University School of Music and School of Theater within the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) seeks qualified candidates for an Applied Voice Adjunct Faculty position with a specialty in Musical Theater. Responsibilities: This part-time position will report to both the School of Music and School of Theater Directors. The incumbent will teach private lessons in musical theater repertoire, starting Fall 2018. This position will teach proper techniques for musical theater styles and will help students build proficiency and repertoire across the genre.

Required Qualifications: The successful candidate will have experience teaching advanced vocal students in musical theater repertoire. It is required that the candidate have a masters of music degree or the equivalent, and professional performance experience.

Preferred Qualification: The preferred candidate will have a terminal degree with a specialty in voice.
