Career Fair - Princeton University Science and Technology
IDA representatives will be in attendance at the Princeton University Science and Technology Career Fair on October 13, 2017. We encourage you to stop by our booth and speak to our staff about careers at IDA.
The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a not-for-profit organization that operates three think tanks supporting federal decision making: two serving the Department of Defense and one serving the Office of Science and Technology Policy in the Executive Office of the President. The IDA Centers provide objective analyses of national security issues, particularly those requiring scientific and technical expertise, and conduct related research on other national challenges.
IDA conducts original research in these core areas:
Evaluations of Strategic and Tactical Systems
Test and Evaluation of Defense Systems
Information Technology and Intelligence
Cost and Resource Analyses
Strategy and Force Assessments
Modeling and Simulation
Application of New Technologies
Command, Control and Communications Assessments
High-Performance Computing and Communications
Diverse, Flat and Interdisciplinary:
Government sponsors ask IDA’s help in understanding exceptionally varied problems. For each task, research teams possessing the precisely necessary variety of scientific and technical disciplines – and representing disparate life experiences – are assembled from across the Institute’s divisions. IDA’s extraordinarily flat organization and culture of internal collaboration allow researchers to easily and collegially interact with each other and the Institute’s leaders.
