We are searching for a Compliance Specialist to support our audit and compliance functions.

What YOU Will Do…
Responsibilities include: Assist in the interface of internal and government audit reviews, log and compile audit documentation and coordinate audit response, maintain schedule of audit requests, the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) response, and follow-up of outstanding issues, facilitate on-site internal and government audits, and provide status updates; assist in the preparation and submission of ARL incurred cost submissions and rate proposals in accordance with the Uniform Guidance and Cost Accounting Standards; track compliance with ARL training modules, report compliance/non-compliance, and collaborate with ARL Information Technology to improve internal training compliance reports; assist with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures, act as a non-bias party and adjudicator to help ensure compliance with ARL and University policies and procedures and Uniform Guidance regulations; and prepare monthly audit and compliance reports.
What YOU Need to be Successful…
This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
• Audit and compliance experience
• Exposure to Case Ware
• A background in a federal contract environment
• Comfort working individually, as well as in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, to include verbal and written communication skills
You will be subject to a government security investigation, and you must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
