We're looking for someone with energy and curiosity who bridges the gap between digital and traditional media. The ideal candidate is ingrained in the digital landscape and has a strong aptitude for website management, search marketing, content creation and social listening, but also understands the traditional side of public relations and possesses strong writing skills, develops great client relationships, and has a keen eye for detail. At Qorvis MSL, you'll receive extensive experience in the world of communications, and will be involved in executing integrated campaigns across multiple communications channels. We work for some of the world's most prestigious companies, offering a variety of exciting communications challenges., *Participate in the execution of PR plans and the day to day account activities, including writing and editing, media relations project management, web development, social listening, and overall client satisfaction. *Provide client support and relationship management for our corporate communications team. *Craft and deliver targeted messages: research, write and edit content and distribute via press releases, fact sheets, pitch letters, blog posts, tweets, etc. - using the best medium to reach your audience with impact. *Utilize monitoring/listening tools to keep track of online conversations across countries, competitive brands and brands being managed by the agency. *Ideation towards tactical as well as strategic campaigns towards build strong brand presence for our clients across social media platforms, drive innovation & creativity in every task. *Participate in the development and execution of digital influencer activations for client campaigns. *Manage content for our clients' web presence (requires working with content management software), including creating/re-creating, routing and posting content on our client's social assets. *Implement the master content calendar for all web properties. *Monitor the media through newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcast, newswire, trade publications, social media channels and blogs for client opportunities and challenges. *Participate in the new business process including conducting research, writing proposals, and pitching new business. *BA/BS degree in communications or a related field. *2+ years of experience in public relations in an agency or in house corporate communications. *Excellent writing and editing skills in both traditional and digital. *A strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media. *Great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. *Ability to work on a large team with the desire to be a team player. *Understanding of account management and budget tracking. *Self-starter who can move quickly and get the job done. *Familiarity Social Media Performance analysis (Reach, Impressions, CTR, etc.). *Familiarity with social media ad buys is a plus. *Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. *Awareness of social media trends (new networks, network share, etc). *Firm grasp of current and emergent best practices for content creation.
