The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic partner and serves as consultant to the VP of Sales and Marketing on HR related issues, employee champion, a support and change agent for the designated business unit(s). The HR Business Partner formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. HRBPs provide support in the following areas: organizational development, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, coaching, organizational learning and development, teambuilding, succession planning, total rewards, and compliance., * Pro-actively drive leadership and organizational development activities such as succession planning, talent reviews, development plans and follow up actions. * Assess the need for talent specific to identification of competencies, knowledge and skills to create employee development plans and recruitment plans. * A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. * Maintain a deep understanding of the organization strategic goals, product & service offerings, revenue models and key initiatives. * Partner with Sales organization to execute human capital strategy in line with business objectives * Develop effective relationships with leaders within the Sales & Marketing teams to provide coaching and influence matters relating to people with both new managers to Sr. Leaders * A strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions * Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, performance management). * Advise on all performance management concerns within the Sales & Marketing Team; Provide expertise related to performance management * Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. * Consult with line management providing HR guidance. * Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment. * Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation. * Conduct ongoing meetings with respective business units. * Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. * Manage and maintain compliance matters. * Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Typically with 6+ years of experience.
