Our Store Managers manage the assigned store location to ensure optimal performance and profitability while delivering the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction. The Store Manager works closely with management to increase profitability through improved efficiencies and productivity levels. The Store Manager adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures. Utilize all informational tools and software to control expenses and maintain optimal productivity and workflow levels. Lead, coach, and direct staff to ensure optimal performance. Set expectations and communicate regularly with staff on goals, customer satisfaction, safety and training while ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. Recruit, train, motivate, develop and retain qualified employees and have individuals work at high performing levels, delivering quality service and customer satisfaction. Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers to ensure long term growth in sales and profits. Maintain employee schedules ensuring appropriate coverage to meet customer needs. Handle employee complaints and grievances. Ensure equipment is well maintained and maintain a safe and clean store environment. Follow all operation procedures to protect our assets (ie, OSHA rules, hazardous waste, wearing safety glasses and filing timely paperwork). Analyze and set inventory stocking levels. A cents € cents Ensure office records and all returns and core records are adequately maintained. Complete accurate repair orders and recommend services as required.Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or its equivalency; automotive-industry management experience and expertise (auto repair, customer service and sales); a professional personal appearance; oral and written communication skills; and an ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. A college degree is highly desirable. The Store Manager must have and maintain a valid driverA cents € (TM) s license. Required Skills Aptitudes: Strong selling and customer service skills in a retail environment; demonstrated staff leadership, management and mentoring skills, conflict resolution skills; working knowledge of VAST, Top Dog Solutions, Microsoft Office and our internal software applications; ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians; and an ability to perform multiple tasks. The Store Manager must be able to safely maneuver and drive a vehicle. Working Conditions: Work is fast-paced in an indoor/outdoor, customer-oriented environment. This position requires stooping, bending and moving throughout the service department. An employee may lift up to 50 pounds and will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
