Manager, Partner Solutions / Personal Insurance Client Services Washington, DC Job Title: Manager, PS/PI Insurance Client Services Department: Personal Insurance Location: Washington, DC Reports to: Director, Global Product Development FLSA Status: Exempt Requisition #: 17-0023 Date: September 21, 2017 SUMMARY: The Manager, Partner Solutions (PS) /Personal Insurance (PI) Client Services is responsible for managing and overseeing the PS Service team and Operations Supervisor, ensuring that ongoing customer service standards are met in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adopting efficient and compliant processes. RESPONSIBILITIES (includes, but not limited to): Manages the day-to-day work effort in PI and PS customer servicing by prioritizing and assigning daily tasks and incoming work to the team. Continually monitor working practices and be responsible for driving and instituting improvements to process, service standards, policies, procedures, and work flows, delivering an efficient and effective customer service and experience. Supports the PI and PS sales team in the delivery of their financial goals through the timely and accurate processing of policy related transactional activity. Supports the Director of Personal Insurance & Product Development in departmental budget exercises and developing business plans. Monitors departmental performance against SLAA cents € (TM) s, quality assurance and compliance; analyze results and where required, recommend changes to bring about the necessary improvement to performance. Maintains strong collaborative working relationships with managers across other departments. Manages team to meet and exceed performance expectations by using the objective setting and performance evaluation processes to ensure employees understand the expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching, development opportunities, and recognition. Holds regular and periodic Team Meetings and individual one-on-one meetings to help influence, drive, and maintain performance standards. Ensures compliance with servicing performance standards, and maintains data integrity within all company systems and processes. Responsible for all aspects of smaller projects or phases of larger projects; Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience Minimum five (5) years of relevant Personal Insurance experience, with a strong knowledge of property & casualty insurance and general understanding of the operations of underwriting, production, auditing, claims, and billing & collection. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in a related environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team of employees with various skillsets and experience to achieve desired business outcomes.
