Job Duties: Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures performs a broad-range of member service activities in person, by mail, and/or by telephone. Answers questions concerning services provided by the credit union from members while quickly and efficiently processing transactions. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to represent the credit union in a courteous, professional manner. Responsibilities: Give prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of all transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers. Balances checks and cash to daily cash received vouchers. Provide member basic account information on Loans and Share products or existing accounts as needed. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and offer Potential Sales Opportunities (PSOA cents € (TM) s) accordingly. Remain cognizant of and adhere to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Inputs data using PC. Perform other Member Services and clerical duties as assigned by the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager. Qualifications-all required unless otherwise noted: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum (12) twelve months financial institution or cash handling experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and member/customer service skills. Ability to learn and cross-sell credit union products and services. Attention to detail. PC proficient including Microsoft Word/Windows. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, postage machine, etc. Satisfactory credit and background.
