Job DescriptionWORK SCHEDULEIS CONSISTENTWITH THE SCHOOL CALENDAR YEARJob SummaryThe Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing evaluation and counseling services to eligible students enrolled in the Wellness Center. She/he interacts primarily with the adolescent population and with their parents. She/he must posses the ability to exercise independent and sound judgement based on standard clinical principles. The Clinical Social Worker provides crisis intervention, arranges for emergency social services as needed, provides substance abuse counseling, and makes referrals as needed. She/he provides educational sessions and classes and group counseling sessions, participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and acts as a resource within the school and community in areas pertaining to adolescent mental health concerns. Education/Experience/Qualifications- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling required- Must have either a DE Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or have a DE Licensures as a Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH)- Minimum of two years clinical experience, including experience with the adolescent population preferred.
