Amyx is seeking an experienced Sr. Finanicial Operations Specialist for a position located in the Arlington, VA area to support upcoming contract work. The DPM will be responsible for program leadership, decision making and management of daily work requirements utilizing a skilled team in an environment that requires flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness. The Deputy Program Manager shall demonstrate and apply highly developed technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to manage complex projects in a diverse and dynamic environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to the task, including: Process financial transactions for Government approval.The contractor shall perform follow-up actions on commitments, outstanding obligations, and certifed vouchers. Record, reconcile, and verify entries into automated systems based on accounting documents. The contractor shall maintain records for appropriated funds. Prepare schedules and financial reports for Government approval. Coordinate with JIDO and prepare and process funding documents for Government approval. Monitor execution of related Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) to ensure leadership is aware of funding issues that may negatively impact initiatives and programs. Prepare financial reports for JIDO, review financial data for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies in conjunction with Government approval. other ad hoc duties as they arrise Have undergone an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or Single Scope Background Investigation Periodic Review (SSBI-PR) within the last five years that was favorably adjudicated Have no break, greater than 24 months, in military service, federal civilian employment or access to classified information under the Industrial Security Program Possess a current TS/SCI clearance A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field Experience and ability to effectively direct and manage contract functions involving multiple, complex and interrelated project tasks. Ten years of relevant senior leadership/program management and operational experience with US military or other Federal Government agencies. Five years in supervision and management of substantive projects involving operational and analytical support and integration in a DoD operational environment Strong Working Knowledge: Program Management Resource Management Security Assurance Organizational Effectiveness Facilities Management Logistics and Property Management (CONUS) Logistics and Property Management (Deployed) Human Resources Event and Communications Management
