Currently, our team is looking for a Talent Aquisition Specialist (TAS). The TAS will play the most critical role by fulfilling our company's purpose and promise to our premiere client located in Arlington, VA.In this position, you will be working for one of our premiere clients who is looking for someone to come in and learn and hit the ground running! Purpose:Provide administrative support to the recruiting department and Human Resources. Provide system support for the applicant tracking tool, the recruiting process, and candidate onboarding. Proactively identify candidates and employ best in class candidate generation techniques including sourcing passive candidates through networking, complex Boolean, social media outreach, internet research, job board databases, and market best practices to find and attract the best candidates Major Responsibilities: - Coordinate and execute candidate screening and interviewing processes to ensure selection of best-qualified talent to meet position requirements. Prepare behavioral based interview guides for use in the interviews. Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate travel when needed, handle visitor access requests, schedule conference rooms as needed, collect required pre-hire data, execute offer process, monitor candidate background screening progress, communicate status with hiring managers, and prepare and submit career fair registration and materials. - Post jobs, source via social media and other internet sources. Creatively, professionally and proactively assist recruiting with mining social networking sites, user groups, passive candidates and the ARC's candidate database to identify potential candidates who fit the minimum requirements for posted positions. - Handle the employee referral candidates, flagging those for hiring managers and the Recruiting for special handling, and well as processing referral bonus program payouts. - Help create, update and maintain college recruiting program spreadsheet and affirmative outreach effort documentation. Maintain current contact lists, and send weekly updates for posting at various career centers and job boards. - Maintain integrity of recruiting data in UltiPro (candidate and requisition status, decline reasons, interviews, contact notes, etc.) and produce ad hoc recruiting reports. Create and maintain job requisitions within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and external posting websites. Handle requisition creation, job posting, candidate updating and communication, and ad hoc requests. - Update and maintain the staffing vendor list as new vendors are approved and other vendors are removed.We are an equal opportunity employer.- 2-5 years of related Human Resources/ Recruiting experience* Ability to communicate with impact and positivity, and to listen well. * Demonstrable passion for HR field and for strong customer service delivery. * Strong interpersonal skills -- able to interact at all levels of the organization and provide high-level, positive and exuberant customer service. * Experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
