The Director of HR Consulting will provide Human Resource business solutions in areas including, but not limited to, talent maximization, workforce planning, process improvement, and change implementation. The Director will create robust strategic partnerships with broad client groups by proactively building relationships with business leaders, pursuing in-depth business knowledge, and leveraging cross functional teams including Finance, Legal and HR to drive solution based responses to client needs. The Director of HR Consulting will also drive large scale horizontal human resource projects, requiring proven project management skills.What will I be doing?The Director of HR Consulting will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with global clients and will also support those global clients regarding organization structure or job changes (analyzing company and making recommendations to ensure consistency for position descriptions, salaries, etc.). The Director will create focused organizational development plans with business partners including workforce planning, talent management, performance management and succession planning. The Director of HR Consulting will also work with Legal and Finance departments and governmental agencies on information requests, as well as ensure compliance on all legal and financial requirements as per relevant legislation and Hilton policy. The Director of HR Consulting will collaborate with other members of the Global HR group to ensure the best service is delivered to clients.Other key priorities include: Partnering with clients to develop first-hand knowledge of short and long-term business goals and objectives Building strong consulting relationships with clients and partners across the business Identifying critical focus areas for analysis, development, and implementation of integrated HR solutions that support the clients' global business strategy Advising global clients on all areas of Human Resources support Planning, executing and implementing Human Resource cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives while meeting deadlines and managing to a specific budget Partnering with external vendors to align the desired project outcomes, leading by directing, coaching, and facilitating cross functional team resources, and monitoring the progress and completion of project milestonesDrafting status updates and creating strategic presentations aimed at informing, aligning, and engaging key stakeholdersWhat are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:BA/BS Bachelor's Degree A minimum of ten (10) years of general business experience A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in a large corporate, matrixed environment A minimum of three (3) years of Consulting experience Must have strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel Must have a broad global understanding of relevant legislation Experience working in business partnering environment Ability to travel as needed It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related background with a strong understanding of budgets, reconciliation and forecasting, and risk and complianceA minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experienceA minimum of five (5) years of Consulting experienceGlobal corporate experience Experience with PeopleSoft and Success FactorsWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
