The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the creative, digital strategy, merchandising, and retailing activation plans across Hilton's global portfolio of brands. The Manager will work closely with global enterprise, category, and regional marketing teams as well as external agencies to develop comprehensive, always-on retail strategies, both digital and physical. The Retail Marketing Manager will also translate consumer needs and business goals into an effective retail strategy by engaging consumers with relevant content, offers, brand activations, and a compelling Hilton portfolio proposition that achieves revenue goals while also aligning with the overarching Enterprise Brand strategy. What will I be doing?Lead the marketing of key destinations and travel periods based on seasonal traveler behavior and business needs across the owned Hilton ecosystem, paid and earned media, and partner channelsBuild a digital merchandising strategy and user experience roadmap across the customer journey to drive awareness and conversion of key destinations, including landing page design and development, onsite placement planning, analytics tagging and tracking and high-level reportingBrief the creative agency or internal creative services group on the creative strategy and lead the development of destination campaign assets Coordinate with key stakeholder groups (eCommerce, Brand Marketing, Digital Analytics, Corporate Communications, Product and Regional Marketing, Third Party Marketing, HRCC) to ensure channel plans supporting retail activity align with the marketing strategy and that defined objectives are achieved Manage the budget for creative development with the creative agency or internal creative services group Track and optimize retail plans and the creative strategy based on campaign reporting and performanceManage the Quality Assurance (QA) process on destination campaigns and new functionalityAssist with the requirements gathering of any new site functionality, working cross functionally with other digital teams (IT, Design, Product, Content)Attend weekly campaign strategy briefings to ensure an understanding of regional business needs and ongoing retail opportunitiesPartner with internal teams to proactively identify, test and develop new site merchandising opportunities to meet digital conversion and traffic goalsCollaborate with regional marketing teams and lead the creative strategy on partner activations to drive revenue to key destinations, including travel and financial partnershipsWhat are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:A minimum of three (3) years of Marketing and Creative Strategy experienceA minimum of three (3) years of experience in an Agency or Marketing roleExperience managing agency partnersStrong understanding of user experience planning, digital design methodology, and campaign testing and reporting Understanding of retailing and eCommerce best practicesAbility to travel as required (15%)It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:A minimum of five (5) years of professional experienceA minimum of five (5) years of Marketing and Retail and eCommerce strategy experienceA minimum of four (4) years of experience in an Agency or Marketing roleA minimum of two (2) years of eCommerce or Retailing experience A minimum of one (1) year of management or mentorship experience Regional Marketing experience working at a global company across multiple brandsBackground in launching digital marketing campaigns on web and mobile platformsBasic understanding of website architecture, SEO, web analytics, key digital metrics and reporting Deep knowledge of retailing, eCommerce and digital best practices with a passion around emerging technologiesWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
