Commercial Lines Manager for Growing Mid-Sized Insurance Agency in Greenbelt, MD. True Leadership Role. Base to $85k + Excellent Benefits. Our client, a strong and growing mid-sized independent insurance agency/broker located in the Greenbelt, MD area, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Manager to lead a team of 8 commercial lines professionals. This is a fantastic and dynamic company, with a long history of success and a great name and reputation in the industry. In this role, the Commercial Lines Manager will report directly to the President of the Agency. The Commercial Lines Manager will take over in a true leadership role, handling the day to day leadership of a strong commercial lines team. The team is currently 8 employees, and growing in size as the agency continues to expand their business. As part of this role, the Manager will direct the hiring, training, performance evaluations and oversee the daily activities of this department. Compensation for this position will include a solid base salary in the $70k-$85k range. On top of this base salary will be an annual bonus in the 5%-10% range. The company also offers and excellent benefits package that will include full healthcare, 401k with a company match, and more. Requirements include a strong background in commercial insurance, with at least 3 years of management experience. The most important quality that is needed in this candidate is the leadership skills.
