JOB SUMMARY:

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides operations support services and business solutions to the community of 10,000 House Members, Officers and staff. The CAO organization comprises more than 600 technical and administrative staff working in a variety of areas, including information technology, finance, budget management, human resources, payroll, child care, food and vending, procurement, logistics and administrative counsel.

This position entails executing financial analysis, policy implementation, training, internal controls and budget formulation and execution along with reporting and budgetary vs. proprietary monthly reconciliation within the United States Legislative Branch (The U.S. House of Representatives, Office of Chief Administrative Officer, Office of Finance, Budget, Policy and Planning Department).

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Help

Ability to multi-task and document processes. Knowledge of the Anti-Deficiency Act, Appropriations Law, and GAO's Red, Green and Yellow Books preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Political Science, Public Administration or related areas of study. Experience in fiscal analysis, financial planning and forecasting, monitoring, reporting, as well as proficiency in oral and written communication for a diverse audience.
