About This Career Opportunity
The Facilities Administrator is primarily responsible for enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of the Facilities team. The position will assist property management, vendors, and employees in providing critical services to the organization's operations and facilities. The position is responsible for providing professional, administrative support for the Facilities team, including preparing and editing reports and correspondence, maintaining facilities' vendor contracts and scheduling routine maintenance, administration of Helpdesk tickets, and coordination of facilities projects.
High school diploma or equivalent required; a two year degree preferred. At least two years of previous administrative and contract management experience preferred. Must be able to work independently in a fact-paced environment. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills along with proven organizational skills. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to proactively solve problems and identify appropriate solution. This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. Must be willing to work hours to meet the needs of the organization's critical services and travel to various facilities as needed. Must have a valid Maryland Driver's License with a safe driving record.
