Assistant Vice Provost for Administration and Finance
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Division of Professional Studies seeks an experienced individual for the position of Assistant Vice Provost for Administration and Finance.
The Assistant Vice Provost will be responsible for providing leadership and management of all administrative and financial affairs of The Division of Professional Studies (DPS). The incumbent will be a senior member of the DPS leadership team and will be responsible for effective communication with high-level leaders/managers within UMBC, the Universities at Shady Grove, local K-12 education agencies, and private sector partners. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing under the direction of the DPS Vice Provost.
The incumbent will be responsible for the organization, alignment, and delivery of all financial and administrative operations of the Division of Professional Studies. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and facilitating the strategic financial planning and execution required to meet DPS’ ambitious strategic objectives. The incumbent will provide compliance assurance including budget, finance, reporting, and oversight of auxiliary services, contracts and grant administration.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in higher education finance and administration. Must have demonstrable management, analytical, and communication experience. Master’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred. PeopleSoft experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position is full-time and includes a generous University benefits package.
