Governance Manager, Mid
Serve as an executive secretariat providing support to senior-level governance boards that are overseeing implementation of set of IT infrastructure shared services for use by multiple agencies. Coordinate with chief engineers, chief architects, and technical staff to enable effective decision-making by governance boards. Develop meeting agendas, record and distribute minutes, assign and track actions, draft memoranda for signature by senior-level clients, and advise clients on appropriate topics and timetables for governance boards. Advise clients on how to optimally use governance framework to achieve their goals. Contribute to the overall strategic goals of a governance framework, including providing advice on improving information flow.
-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
-Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Ability to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment
-Ability to leverage organizational and task management expertise
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience with analyzing business processes for organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, protocols, or risks or MA or MS degree and 3 years of experience with analyzing business processes in organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, protocols, or risks
-Experience with technical staff, including developers, engineers, or architects or working in a technical setting
-Experience with supporting senior or executive-level government clients
-Experience as a beginning-to-intermediate SharePoint developer or administrator
-Ability to coordinate and collaborate with Governance counterparts across multiple organizations
-Ability to be flexible when working with highly motivated, driven clients
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize client requirements
-Ability to work well in a team setting
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating effectively with senior leaders and staff across agencies
