Assistant, Scheduling and Operations (Office of the President)
The American Enterprise Institute seeks a full-time assistant to provide administrative, scheduling, and logistical support to AEI President Arthur Brooks.
Working closely with the team that supports Dr. Brooks, the assistant will schedule his meetings and appointments, make travel arrangements, maintain his calendar, and ensure he has the materials necessary in advance of trips, meetings, and speaking engagements. In addition, the assistant will support the president’s office via other administrative tasks, such as monitoring incoming calls, reviewing mail and invitations, processing reimbursements, and compiling monthly expense reports.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a small, fast-paced, and tightly knit team that supports Dr. Brooks across all facets of his roles as a nonprofit chief executive, bestselling author, and widely sought public speaker.
The ideal candidate will possess: extremely strong organization skills, thorough attention to detail, a can-do attitude, a keen sense for prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks, and a high degree of tact, professionalism, and discretion.
