Clerkship & Resource Coordinator, Office of Career Strategy - Georgetown University Law Center

The Clerkship and Resource Coordinator serves as the clerkship application process expert for the Office of Career Strategy and as point of contact for process-related questions, managing the online database, managing the mailing of paper applications, and maintaining in-office resources. Reporting to the Director of the Office of Career Strategy, the Clerkship & Resource Coordinator has duties that include but not limited to:

Clerkship

  • Serves as the point of contact for process-related questions.
  • Manages the online database.
  • Mails paper applications.
  • Maintains office resources.

Resources

  • Maintains subscriptions of all periodicals and publications in the library.
  • Coordinates reciprocity between Georgetown and other law schools around the country.
  • Supports the Front Desk & Jobs Listings by handling telephone calls and greeting students and other visitors.
  • Supports social media presence.
  • Assists counselors with ongoing projects as needed

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of customer service
  • Proficiency in word processing/database/internet skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; service orientation, and strong attention to detail
  • Independently motivated and comfortable working as part of a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are critical
