Potomac Pathways is seeking a full-time or part-time licensed MFT or other licensed clinician with family therapy experience to join our team. Serving adolescents/young adults with co-occurring disorders, our DBT IOP and Aftercare programs have a required family therapy component.

You should be:

  • Licensed in Maryland: master’s level marriage/family therapist, social worker, professional counselor, or license-eligible in Maryland
  • Able to work weekday afternoons and evenings as necessary
  • Versed in basic components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (will offer more in-depth DBT training for the right candidate)
  • Experienced conducting family assessments and family therapy with adolescents and their families
  • Experienced in working with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
  • Team oriented, with high clinical standards
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.

Education & experience:

  • Required: Master's in related counseling/mental health field preferred
  • Experience in family therapy
